This Privacy Policy explains how Eliance Group IT SRL (“we”, “us”) handles information in Lightsmith, a puzzle game we publish on Google Play and the Apple App Store (the “Game”).
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address or phone number.
- Your progress is saved on your device, not on our servers.
- The free part of the Game shows adverts. If you buy the unlock, the Game stops requesting adverts entirely.
- We never sell your personal data.
Information in the Game
1. Data stored only on your device
Which levels you have solved, and whether you have purchased the unlock, are saved in your device’s local app storage. This never reaches our servers, and it is removed when you uninstall the Game.
2. Advertising — Google AdMob
The free portion of the Game shows occasional full-screen adverts between levels, supplied by Google AdMob. To deliver, cap and measure them, Google may process your device’s advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), device and app information such as model, operating system version and language, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Once you purchase the unlock, the Game stops asking the advertising SDK for adverts at all, so no further advert requests are made on your behalf.
Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms and the AdMob partner policies.
3. Install measurement — AppsFlyer
We use AppsFlyer to understand which adverts brought players to the Game, and to see anonymously where new players stop playing so we can improve it. AppsFlyer processes your device’s advertising identifier, device and app information, and events such as opening the Game, finishing a level or completing a purchase. It does not receive your name or contact details, because we never collect them. See the AppsFlyer Services Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases
The Game offers a single one-off purchase that unlocks the remaining levels and removes advertising. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your card details. The store tells the Game only whether the purchase is valid.
Your choices
- Consent. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the Game shows Google’s consent form before personalised adverts are served, and you can change your answer at any time from within the advert settings that form provides.
- Tracking (iOS). On iOS the Game asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. If you decline, measurement continues without your device’s identifier.
- Reset or remove your advertising ID. Android: Settings → Google → Ads. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Delete everything. Uninstalling the Game removes all data stored on your device.
Children
Lightsmith is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The Game is rated for a general audience and contains no chat, no user-generated content and no social features.
Legal basis and your rights
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for personalised advertising and on our legitimate interest in understanding how the Game is found and used. You have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Because we hold no account for you, requests are best directed at the identifier the advertising services use — or simply reset it, as described above.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the Game’s store listing.
